Jean-Jacques Burnel asked me to look after his gear one weekend, the Fens had rtisen and it was all a bit gushy in the Burnel Barnyard, so of couse i said yes, anything to help out and be owned a favour.
zzZoom!, that beast was down in the studio before the echo of the door closing had left the doorframe. Marshall with torn cone, job done. This song had been kicking around a bit, made a few dents in the walls, but the keyboard sequency bass was not keeping my coracle aloft.
strangely, having played JJ's hallowed Fender, i can now do karate dead good too. Like on telly.
Thought it appropriate to use cover art from 1988.
Aw, I loved those shades. I'm not sure if I'd been intimate with a lady at that point. Maybe with Avril ******, who'd spent the day following our semi-encounter pointing out how many times someone had written "Avril ****** is a boyfriend snatcher" on the walls of Scum, before she took me shoplifting.
