Monkey songs and Mr. Matthews. He seems to have a thing about them. Hmm. " 'Brit-poop' came and went, left a nasty stain and kept the charity shop racks busy. Far too late (again) I tried to jump on the bandwagon only to end up face down on a muddy track. The Pinkie Wilson persona was not a likeable one. Fortunate, then, that my appearances as such numbered only a few small festivals that year, limited to the camping zones thereof. Got banned a lot, ended up in several scrapes with the local constabularies - that rather pricey fake passport turned out to be quite a shrewd investment after all, heh heh. That was the year I lived in a shed and my shoes started bleeding."
