Ah! wasn't really a rock label. It wasn't really a label, some would argue. But this was how it all began. Me and William Easton, fresh out of pencil college, second hand four track, and an unrivalled charity-shop stickered Sheena Easton collection filled with bits of cigarette papers and dry tobacco. We thought Jack Daniels wrote thrillers. We had hair. Our lips were sweet, fine, hungry muscles. We stank of aftershave and irony, and played guitar like agonised lovestricken slaves of Succubi. we wished.
