everyone was doing these street rap kind of things and charting with them and I thought, well Bill actually punched me in the solar plexus, sat on my neck and told me, we should have a go at riding a bandwagon occasionally aso why not this one. So, I was down the boozer wondering if Julius was down with the kids, called him up and asked him: "joolz, my man, what's the word on the street?" but he said; "give way" so I knew we should look elsewhere. Suddenly, there's a man in my lap, soaked in lager, grabbing my head and butting it, before pushing himself up, crushing my nutsack, and scooting out the door on, well, a scooter.
"Nathan freakin' Barley!" I thought and we had our man. Professor MacFarlane. "I'll do it for a pony" he barked when I finally caught up with him, running over his foot in a stolen minicab and refusing to move until he agreed to participate. I knew he was pleased immediately after the vocal session was wrapped up - he punched me in the solar plexus, knelt on my scrotum and explained to me that "pony' was not a literal term and could I come to his house and exchange it for £500 in used tenners.
I am not afraid to admit I am still learning my way around the record industry.
